American Ethanol Makes It Three In A Row At Lake Of The Ozarks Top Gun Shootout

Don Onken and Team American Ethanol achieved yet another milestone over the weekend, setting the top speed record on the "Captain Ron's Course" at the 2017 Lake Of The Ozarks Top Gun Shootout. The event course had been shortened to 3/4 mile from the previous year's 1 mile course, opening up the field of competitors to "reset" the class records all over again. Would the 200mph barrier be possible to break with this new, shorter course?

Yes. Yes it was possible, and Team American Ethanol were there to prove it. Don Onken's American Ethanol 51-foot Mystic Powerboats Catamaran is powered by 4 Keith Eikert Engines, each with their own Vortech V-30 123A Supercharger. The combination produces over 7,000 horsepower, and was able to propel throttleman John Cosker and driver Tony Battiato to not only take the win, but to reset the record at an astonishing 204 mph!

Congratulations to Don Onken and Team American Ethanol on their Three-Peat Victory!

Andrew DeMarco Takes Runner Up Spot On Only 2nd Time Out

Andrew and crew performed outstanding this weekend at the NMCA All-American Nationals, especially considering this is only their second time out with the new V-30 112A Supercharged combination.

Despite battling chassis setup and wheel-standing problems, when the dust settled DeMarco found himself headed to the Street Outlaw final. Andrew admits that the car has a lot left in it, so look out for DeMarco in Indy, the next stop on the NMCA Trail.

Jeff Godwin Takes 235 Limited at SCSN St. Louis - Anarchy At The Arch

The final results are in from the weather-delayed Street Car Super Nationals, and Jeff Godwin and his 1991 Fox Body Mustang took the win in the 235 Limited Class. Godwin's GT is powered by a Vortech Supercharged 363 cubic inch powerplant, and hails from Littleton, CO.

Alton Clements Jr. Renegade Points Leader Going Into Season Finale

Alton Clements Jr. has had a phenomenal season in his 1989 Vortech V-30 94B Supercharged Fox Body Mustang, and going into the season ender has a comfortable lead over the rest of the pack. Taking full advantage of the efficiency and output benefits of his Vortech V-30 Supercharger, Clements has kept everyone else in the class at bay with consistent 7-Second runs at over 185mph. Tune in at the end of September for the World Finals in Bowling Green, KY to see what happens!
