Building off the heritage of the factory Paxton Shelby GT-350s of the 1960s, the current Paxton NOVI Supercharger Systems for your S197 Ford Mustang is the best possible bang for your buck. With an increase of 170 horsepower on an otherwise 100% completely stock 4.6L 3V setup, the Paxton Supercharger System is a modern version of the Paxton Superchargers you are used to seeing on Mustangs for generations. Paxton NOVI Supercharger Systems are an upgrade to power, performance, style and heritage all in one.

COMPLETE SYSTEM

470HP - The complete High Output system will boost your stock 4.6 GT to 470HP and 420 LB/FT Torque with 10 PSI from the NOVI 2200SL Supercharger at factory redline using CA 91 Octane fuel.

Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the Manual and Automatic Transmission 2005-2008 4.6L 3V Mustang GT, featuring the NOVI 1200SL centrifugal supercharger (Standard Output), or NOVI 2200SL (High Output) centrifugal supercharger with air-to-air charge cooler.

The S197 Mustang GT systems utilize the current line of ultra-efficient Paxton NOVI compressors. Continual development in our test lab resulted in this and other high-efficiency models, which reach a peak adiabatic efficiency of 75%-78% (SAE J1723 standard). The efficiency of the 2200SL with its patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage, this supercharger literally blows away the competition. High efficiency equates to less heat being generated, a reduction in power required to drive the compressor, and more net power being produced as a result. Less heat also means better durability. All NOVI SL Series Superchargers have a self-contained lubrication system that makes installation fast and easy. Also, Paxtons supercharger systems weigh less than half of the low-tech competing brands.

Paxton supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Paxton systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decrease.

Run on Vortech's own Mustang chassis dyno (lower numbers than a comparable Dynojet), the stock Bullitt produced 239 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with the standard Vortech kit, the peak power numbers jumped to 329 hp and 309 lb-ft of torque.
