  • Vortech's 2016-2018 Sixth-Gen Camaro SS Supercharger Systems are available as a Tuner Kit for custom installations for modified vehicles or higher horsepower applications.

  • The 2016-2018 Camaro SS systems utilize Vortech's V-3 Si-Trim supercharger. Continued development in Vortech's Lab resulted in the V-3 Si. The "i" stands for improved and with its new patented oil control system and state of the art centrifugal compressor stage this V-3 Si-Trim literally blows away the competition. Industry leading 78% adiabatic efficiency [SAE J1723 standard] means less heat is being generated, drive power is reduced and more net power is produced. Less heat also means better durability.

    • Superior Technology
  • Centrifugal superchargers easily make more pressure and flow than a roots type blower and are much more efficient. Read our Roots vs Centrifugal comparison to see the numbers.

  • Vortech supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Vortech systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decreases.

    • Tuner Kits, Upgrades, More HP
  • For higher-horsepower, custom-tuned installations we recommend a tuner kit, which does not include MAP sensor or ECU programmer. This requires you or your installer to provide custom calibration and the required fuel components. The V-3 Si-Trim supercharger included with the tuner kit is capable of up to 775HP on modified vehicles. Call Vortech or your dealer for more information.

  • Multiple kit finishes available. For that fully integrated look, systems are available in factory matching black finish. Satin and Polished units are also available.

  • - V-3 Si-Trim compressor with 34 tooth drive pulley
  • - 3.60" jackshaft input pulley; 30 tooth output pulley
  • - Manifold boost pressure: 7.0-7.5 psig @ redline on stock engine
  • Air inlet assembly includes:
  • - K&N air filter
  • - Stainless steel exhaust heat shield
  • - Crankcase breather hose and connections
  • Mounting bracket assembly includes:
  • - Billet aluminum and steel supercharger plates. Rigid mount features multiple position idler location for a wide range of belt and pulley combinations.
  • - Idlers, drive belts and all hardware.
  • Discharge components include:
  • - Welded air/air charge cooler (18.7" x 15" x 3" cooler core) with integrated brackets and MAF provision.
  • - Mandrel bent aluminum charge tubes for high flow and minimal weight
  • - Stainless steel clamps and silicone coupling sleeves
  • - Plug-and-play MAF sensor extension harness
  • - Vortech Maxflow Race Bypass Valve with filter

The manufacture, sale, offer for sale, or installation of this product may also be illegal under the federal clean air act (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3)).

    10-Rib Supercharger Drive Upgrade
  • 4GT116-001 - 10-Rib Supercharger Drive Upgrade Package design allows for maximum belt traction and stability. Dedicated 10-Rib configuration replaces standard Vortech 6-rib / jackshaft supercharger drive and tensioner for customers who wish to increase their drive capability.

    • Supercharger pulleys
  • - To change pulley on supercharger, use Vortech 4GR033-xxx series supercharger pulleys.
  • - To change cog pulley on jackshaft, use Vortech 4GR032-xxx series supercharger pulleys.
  • - To change serpentine pulley on jackshaft, use Vortech 2A036-xxx series 6-Rib supercharger pulleys.
  • Vortech offers several sizes in each of these pulley types to choose from.

    Run on Vortech's own Mustang chassis dyno (lower numbers than a comparable Dynojet), the stock Bullitt produced 239 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with the standard Vortech kit, the peak power numbers jumped to 329 hp and 309 lb-ft of torque.
