The NHRA/Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series - North Central Division 3 and JEGS joined forces to organize JEGS SPEEDweek. With racing starting on Thursday, July 16, 2020 and featuring more than 600 of the nation's best sportsman drag racers in multiple classes getting down to business at National Trail Raceway in Hebron, OH just outside Columbus. The double-event weekend began Wednesday, July 15th with a test-and-tune session for all participants then quickly transitioned to the North Central Division 3 event on Thursday 7/16, and Friday 7/17, followed by the annual JEGS SPORTSnationals Saturday and Sunday.

Danny Nelson, the defending JEGS SPORTSnationals winner and reigning NHRA Top Dragster world champion, battled to stay on top by beating out Anthony Bertozzi in the final round of Oakley Motorsports Top Dragster. Nelson drove his V-30 123A Vortech Supercharged dragster to a 6.14 ET @ 220.08 on his 6.13 dial to take the win.

The Vortech V-30 123A Centrifugal Supercharger certainly pulled its weight and a lot more, giving Danny the power he needed to surpass all of the competition and take the win at the event.

The historic event combined the first NHRA/ Lucas Oil Series Division 3 race of the season with the annual JEGS.com SPORTSnationals at National Trail Raceway. Capping off the weekend, the coveted Wally Trophies were given out to the well-deserved winners of each class as Danny Nelson of Top Dragster proudly holds up here!
