April is a great time in Southern California. It's starting to warm up, and that means it is time for Fabulous Fords! For those that are not familiar, the Fabulous Fords Forever event is the West Coast's largest all Ford Car Show, and takes place in Orange County, CA. Up until this year, the show was commonly referred to as "Knott's", because the event had been held at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park every year for as long as anyone could remember. However, the show has continued to grow and grow with every passing year, and had outgrown the space at Knott's several years ago. For the 2019 event, it was moved to the much larger space at Angel's Stadium in Anaheim. Here are just some of the Supercharged vehicles we found while walking around the event...

Vortech and Paxton Superchargers were out in force, setting up a stacked booth comprised of 10 Supercharged Fords from all sides of the enthusiast spectrum. Our staff was also on site, answering questions from Ford fans in attendance about the most efficient Superchargers on the market - Vortech and Paxton Superchargers!

Mark's (@hard_driven) Fury Orange 2018 Mustang GT is bagged, decked out in carbon fiber, and boosted via a Vortech V-3 JT Supercharging System. You may have seen Mark's car previously at the SEMA Show 2018 in the Trufiber booth.

A favorite from our booth at last year's show, @miss_midnight_maverick has continued to evolve in her quest to go faster at the track. The Vortech V-1 Si Supercharged 1973 Maverick easily runs well into the 9's in the quarter mile, and is currently on the hunt for the eighth mile record.

Erica's (@i.have.no.idea.whats.happening) Magnetic Grey 2018 Mustang GT is a Performance Pack car, and is boosted via a Black Finish Vortech V-3 JT-Trim System and has a few carbon and smoked accents to help set off the cars overall look. Not bad for only owning the car for a couple of weeks before the show!

We tried to have Rene (@rrtactical) bring out his awesome Fox Body for last year's Fabulous Fords, but he was not able to get the Vortech V-2 System installed in time. We were super excited to have him in the booth this year, and his highly customized Supercharged and Aftercooled Notchback was a big hit with the crowd.

Wrapped, bagged, boosted, and customized from front to back, Stephanie (@rawr_5oh) and her S550 has been a great addition to the Southern California Mustang scene. If you've been to any SoCal events at all in the last couple of years, chances are you've seen her car on display and always looking great.

We first saw Sergio (@svt_sergio) and his V-7 YSi Supercharged '97 Cobra late last year at the Motor 4 Toyz show. Well, it would be more accurate to say we first heard his car there. When he started up his boosted Cobra to move it from one parking spot to another, all of the heads of the Vortech crew snapped in his direction as we heard the sweet music of his V-7 Vortech Supercharger singing. We went over to say hello, and we liked the car so much we asked Sergio to bring it out for our Fab Fords display. Thankfully he obliged us, and everyone at Angel's Stadium was able to come by and enjoy it.

(@clean_nature_eric) has a fine example of setting up an S197 Coyote nicely. The Grabber Blue GT is sitting low on air and is Supercharged with a Vortech V-3 Si System in Black Finish.

Our friend Eddie Z. (@boosteddriftbullitt) brought out his new 4.6L 4V-Swapped 2001 Bullitt drift mobile to showcase yet another facet of Mustang performance. Mustangs are versatile cars and can be used for all manner of motorsports applications. The V-7 JT-Trim Supercharged beast has been set up for serious competition, and Eddie slides competitively in ProAm events in The Drift League.

"Why doesn't Vortech make a Coyote F150 kit???" Well, feast your eyes on this custom V-7 YSi System from Triple Threat Racing (@triplethreatracing661) that we proudly had on display in our booth. The truck made an astonishing 767rwhp and 588ft-lbs at just 8psi of efficient Vortech Supercharged boost. The system features all custom fabricated ducting and looks extremely clean and tidy in the engine compartment, even with the big Vortech Maxflow BV57 Valve mounted in plain view. Triple Threat Racing are located in Santa Clarita, CA and can handle all your performance needs.

Jose's (@garagesalerawesome) Competition Orange 2015 Mustang GT is always a welcome addition to the Vortech display, showing off his Black Finish V-3 Si-Trim kit with carbon accents. The tastefully done car has several other performance upgrades, while keeping the exterior mostly stock, except for the Eibach Sportlines and Satin Silver Velgen Split 5 Wheels.

Chris from ADTR (@adtrperformance) had several cars at the show, but his own personal Marauder was certainly an attention grabber. The Dark Blue Pearl Metallic car is one of just 328 produced, so the custom "RAAAARE" license plate certainly fits the bill. Making it even more exclusive is the Vortech/ADTR Performance Supercharger System under the hood, significantly bumping up the power output of the 4.6L powerplant via a Vortech V-3 Si Supercharger and Air-to-Air Charge Cooler.

Another ADTR vehicle on display at the event was Casper the Ghost Vic, a 2004 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with 8psi of Vortech V-3 Si boost under the hood. ADTR Performance are the place to go to for parts and Supercharging Systems for Crown Victorias, Grand Marquis, Towncars, and Marauders. If you have one of these cars, you need to go to ADTR.net.

Another of our 3rd Party Value Added Dealers displaying vehicles at the event was JBA Speed Shop (@jbaspeed), who brought out their Vortech V-3 Supercharged Shelby GT350 track beast. Got a GT350 in need of some boost? Contact JBA Speed Shop for your Vortech/JBA GT350 Supercharging System today.

JBA Speed Shop also offers Supercharging Systems for the 2012-2013 BOSS 302 Mustangs, based off the Vortech Mustang GT Systems of the same years. If you are looking for a serious horsepower boost for your BOSS Mustang, contact JBA Speed Shop for a Vortech/BOSS 302 Supercharging System.

We found this gorgeous Grey Four-Eyed Fox while walking around the show. The Mustang belongs to Fredo (@a_t_sanchez), and features an Anderson Power Pipe-fed Vortech V-1 Supercharged setup.

One of the more radical project cars we saw at the show was this twin Paxton NOVI 1200 Supercharged Ford Fairlane 500 from Mustangs & Fast Fords OC (@mustangsandfastfordsoc). We don't have a whole lot of information about this car, but we certainly liked what we saw!

@justalow5.0's GT is bagged, boosted, and absolutely beautiful! The Race Red 2014 is Supercharged via a Paxton NOVI 2200SL System in Black Finish.

A nice example of a Vortech Supercharged 4.6L 3V is this White Saleen S281. The Vortech V-2 T-Trim Supercharged setup feeds into a Vortech/Maxflow Air-to-Water Charge Cooler in Polished Finish.

A beautiful Vortech V-1 Supercharged 5.0L Bronco was a highlight of the truck & offroad section of the show.

Patrick (@fearthevert) came out from Palm Springs with his Paxton NOVI 1200SL Supercharged and Vortech/Maxflow Air-to-Water Charge Cooled GT Convertible.

Another car we wished had gotten more information on is this bagged & V-3 Si Supercharged 4.6L Thunderbird that was sitting low low low. If anyone knows the owner, please send us their contact information!

Ramiro's (@thatwhtboost) Vortech Supercharged S550 was looking great and set up nicely with a V-3 Si-Trim System in Black Finish under the hood.

Bob's 1957 Custom 300 Tudor Sedan is a real treat to have at the show. This Paxton NOVI 1200 Supercharged setup looks amazing under the hood of this classic Ford.

Dark Highland Green 2001 Bullitt Mustang with a Satin Finish Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger System.

@mustangortez's 1991 Notchback Mustang was looking clean and showing off the Black Finish Vortech V-3 Si-Trim System under the hood.

"What is that? It's got a Supercharged 5.0 pushrod engine in it. Wow." The Ford LTD/LX was, in more ways than one, a 4-door Fox Body Mustang. It was even built on the same Fox platform as the Mustang. This example has not only been extremely well taken care of, it has several upgrades (including the Vortech V-3 Supercharger) that make it an awesome little classic sleeper for those nostalgic enough to remember them. We think this is a real treat to have at the show and were excited to see it there.

@yote_robr1's S197 Coyote was looking mean and ready to run sitting on Hoosiers with its Paxton NOVI 2200SL Supercharger System under the hood ready to provide the boost.

Real Saleen S351s are becoming more and more of a rare site to see, which is sad because we really love them. Thankfully, this Black Coupe has made another appearance at this year's event.

This Vortech V-1 T-Trim Supercharged Mustang GT Hatchback got a prime spot right under the giant Angel's marquee sign.

This School Bus Yellow 2013 BOSS 302 was showing off a Black Finish Paxton NOVI 2200SL System under the hood.

We remember that this LX Notchback from @gearheads213 was Silver last year, but is looking pretty eye-catching with it's new paint job. Under the hood is a Vortech V-3 SCi Supercharger and a Vortech/Maxflow Mondo Bypass Valve, along with some matching blue pieces under the hood which do well to bring the whole package together.

Another ultra-rare sight at this year's event is this 1957 F-Code Ford Thunderbird. The F-Code Thunderbirds were Factory Supercharged with Paxton VR57 Superchargers.

A Paxton NOVI 2500 Supercharger sits under the hood of @fastfords302's Fox Body drag monster.

This Oxford White Vortech V-3 Si Supercharged BOSS 302 took 3rd Place at last year's Silver State Classic in Nevada, with an average speed of 139.9954 MPH.

This flamed LX Hatchback Fox has a Polished & Air-to-Water Charge Cooled Vortech V-2 Supercharger System looking fantastic under the hood.

This Mach 1 has an Air-to-Water charge Cooled Vortech V-3 System feeding the 4.6L 4V engine.

Vortech V-3 Supercharged Fox Body Mustang.

Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharged 2013 Mustang GT.

Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharged True Blue 2001 Mustang Bullitt.

Paxton NOVI 2000 Supercharged & Air-to-Air Charge Cooled 96-98 Cobra from John Smith Racing.

Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharged and Air-to-Water Charge Cooled New Edge Mustang GT.

This Blue LX Notchback Mustang features a Vortech V-2 S-Trim Supercharger with a custom Air-to-Air Charge Cooler.

Lots of great cars this year, and with the new location the show can continue to grow. We are already looking forward to next year's event! Hope to see you there!
