Vortech Superchargers wants to congratulate the 2020 SEMA Battle of the Builders Young Guns Division winner Cody Medeisis and this stunning 1968 Camaro!

Cody started off by competing in the Great Lakes Young Guns Regional Corral and making it into the top 40 of BOTB. He then finally ended up with 2 other Young Guns finalists to round out the overall top 12 covering the 4 Divisions; Young Guns, Truck & Offroad, Sport Compact and Hot Rod.

Cody’s seemingly limitless talents and attention to detail really showed on all aspects and overall design of the 1968 Camaro that belongs to his girlfriend, Emilee Ballard. The main aspects included, Body & Paint, Interior, Engine and Chassis, but setting this vehicle even further apart from the rest of the BOTB contenders was the engine build, utilizing a stout Dart LS Next block, a set of Frankenstein Heads and of course a potent Vortech V-7 YSi-B Trim Supercharger capable of 1,400+ HP!

In addition to us fans here at Vortech, there are likely quite a few industry eyes looking out for what Cody has up his sleeve with future builds! To see more of this extraordinary 1968 Camaro on the Battle Of The Builders show airing in Jan ’21 on the History Channel, and also is scheduled to be on display at the SEMA Show in 2021 in Las Vegas.
