Terry "Beefcake" Reeves Wins Coyote Modified & Takes Home Another Super Bowl Ring In Joliet...
Terry "Beefcake" Reeves has taken the Coyote Mustang world by storm over the last few years, proving to not only be the dominant force in Coyote Mustang Racing, but also the premier vendor for sales & support of Coyote Mustang products, especially Superchargers. This past weekend in Joliet, Beefcake & his Vortech V-7 JT Supercharged GT were not only in the hunt for another win in his chosen class of competition in the NMRA (Coyote Modified), but also another one of the coveted NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl Rings that can be won each year at the event. Reeves met Frank Varela and his Hellion Turbo powered Fox Body in the first round, with Beef's 8.837 E.T. @ 150.18 MPH taking the win. In the Coyote Modified Final, it was Joe Cram vs. Beefcake in a battle of the two biggest smack-talkers in the NMRA. Cram's 2006 Mustang GT had bested both David Witt and Camren Massengale to get to the final, but Beefcake backed up the talk in the final round, taking the win over Joe Cram on a holeshot victory. Beefcake’s 8.687 at 161 MPH eked past Cram’s 8.672 at 161 MPH on the strength of the starting line advantage. This is Beefcake’s second win of the season. Next on the agenda for the weekend for Reeves was the race for another Super Bowl Ring. http://youtu.be/RCZjFk4J82U When it was NMRA vs. NMCA Super Bowl time, it was Street Outlaw winner Phil Smith against Coyote Modified winner Terry "Beefcake" Reeves. Nitrous versus blower, Firebird versus Mustang, NMCA versus NMRA – in a battle of Corndog and Beefcake. When it was over, there was no question where the Beef was, taking the win and his 3rd Super Bowl Ring. Congratulations to Terry and Team Beefcake Racing!
